Purpose

Office 365 mailbox may have multiple SMTP addresses. For outgoing messages Exchange online service always uses the primary SMTP address. For example, John Doe has a mailbox with john.doe@companya.com primary SMTP address and john.doe@companyb.com secondary smtp address. John Doe can easily receive the message addressed both to john.doe@companya.com and john.doe@companyb.com, but he cannot send the message as john.doe@companyb.com because Exchange online rewrites the From address to default one.
ChooseFrom 365 application allows Office 365 users to send a message with any of their own SMTP addresses as the From address.
The application is a cloud service.

We've just released a new feature: multiple display names associated with a single SMTP address.

If you have only one email address you might be interested in ability to send mails using different sender names.
Examples: John Doe <John.Doe@contoso.com> BestFruits Co <noreply@contoso.com> John Wayne <John.Wayne@contoso.com> info <John.Doe@contoso.com> or LuxuryCars Co <noreply@contoso.com> or Джон Уэйн <John.Wayne@contoso.com> helpdesk <John.Doe@contoso.com> FreshMeat Ltd <noreply@contoso.com> 约翰 <John.Wayne@contoso.com>
