Purpose
CustomMeetingRequest is an add-in for classic Outlook desktop (Windows) that allows you to use a customized default meeting request template.
When a user creates a new meeting request, the template will appear.

Current version: 1.0.1
The application is a COM add-in compatible only with classic desktop Outlook for Windows. It does not support the new Outlook for Windows.
Installation
- Download and extract CustomMeetingRequest-DEMO.zip, then run CustomMeetingRequestSetup.exe and follow the instructions.
- Open Outlook and select File > Options > Add-ins. Verify that CustomMeetingRequest appears in the "Active Application Add-ins" list.

- Create a shared mailbox named "SharedTemplates", open its default calendar, and create a new meeting request. Enter "CustomMeetingRequest" in the Title field. Modify the body as you like and save the meeting request. Now it will be used as a template.

- In the Exchange Admin Center, navigate to the "SharedTemplates" mailbox. Assign "Read and manage" permissions to every user mailbox that will use the template.

Testing
- Open Outlook and create a new meeting request. Verify that the template is used to populate its body.

Demo Version Notes
The demo version appends the tag "CustomMeetingRequest (DEMO)" to the subject of each meeting request processed; the full version does not.
Uninstallation
You can uninstall the add-in via Settings > Apps (called "Installed Apps" in Windows 11 and "Apps & features" in Windows 10).
