SendAsDL for Microsoft Outlook

This add-in will automatically substitute the From: address when you reply to or forward a message sent to the distribution list.

In other words, when a person who is a member of the distribution list replies to a message sent to the distribution list, the default sender address will be the distribution list address.

Installation

1. Download SendAsDL-DEMO.zip archive file.

2. Run SendAsDLSetup_per-user.exe.

3. Make sure the SendAsDL is in the list of COM add-ins.

   

Testing

Let's suppose you are a member of the distribution list TestDL1@domain.com.

1. Send a test email to TestDL1@domain.com.

2. Make sure the email is delivered to your Inbox. Click the "Reply" Button. Check if the reply has TestDL1 as the From: address.

   

3. Do the same using the "Reply All" button.

4. Do the same using the "Forward" button.

We have tested SendAsDL with Outlook 2019/2021/365 and Windows 10/11.

Uninstallation

You can uninstall SendAsDL using "Programs and Features" tool.

About this demo version

SendAsDL demo version adds "SendAsDL DEMO VERSION" phrase to the Subject line of each message with modified From: address.
