Purpose
When a user leaves a company, their email address is often reassigned as an alias of a shared mailbox. Over time, a shared mailbox can accumulate many aliases, making it difficult to tell which address an incoming message was originally sent to.
The SortAliasesShared flow solves this problem by automatically moving incoming messages to subfolders under Inbox based on the alias they were addressed to. A new subfolder is created for each new alias, so messages are always neatly separated by recipient address.
The flow is designed to handle shared mailboxes with large email traffic.

Installation
- Make sure the account you will use to run the flow has full access to the shared mailbox.
- Open Power Automate and import "SortAliasesShared4.zip" as a new flow, following the Power Automate documentation.
- Enter the shared mailbox UPN in the "Original Mailbox Address" field of the trigger.
- Turn on the flow.
Testing
- Send a test message to the alias address of the shared mailbox.
- Open Outlook or Outlook Web Access (OWA) and verify that the message has been moved to a subfolder under Inbox.
