MoveToJunk Flow for Office 365

Purpose

MoveToJunk Flow moves a message that contains predefined trigger word in the From address to the "Junk Email" folder.

Example: a spammer sent you a message where the From address looks like this:

You want each message that contains "Metabolism" in the sender's display name will go directly to the "Junk Email" folder. The flow will do that for you.

The product is a Power Automate (former MS Flow) template. It can be used by any Office 365 user who can run Power Automate.

Installation

1. In Outlook navigate to your default Contacts folder and create a subfolder named "MoveToJunk"

2. In MoveToJunk folder create a contact MoveToJunk. Place a list of trigger words to "Notes" field:

   

3. Download MoveToJunk1002.zip file and then run Office 365 Power Automate and import the zip file into your flows list as described here.

4. Re-select "Inbox" folder in "When a new email arrives (V3)" trigger.

   

Testing

• Send yourself a message whose From: address display name contains any of trigger words you have set previously.

• Make sure the message you have received is moved to "Junk Email" folder.
